Starting My Blog

Every developer at some point writes a "Hello world" program to sanity-test their setup to ensure that it is working. This post serves that same purpose, along with kickstarting my journey in blogging everything Ive done over the years.

Why Now?

I've been meaning to reflect on everything that I have done in the past, but I've been putting this off for years. The usual excuses: "I don't have anything interesting to say," "no one will read it," "I'll start when I have more time." But I've realized that those are just fear dressed up as pragmatism.

When you reflect on something, especially in writing, it brings out insights that you (or I) may not have gleamed beforehand.

What You'll Find Here

This blog will be a mix of things I care about:

  • Technology & Programming — deep dives into tools, languages, and projects I'm working on
  • Learning in Public — documenting my journey as I pick up new skills
  • Personal Reflections — thoughts on productivity, creativity, and the occasional life update, along with events that I have conducted.

The Stack

This blog is built with Next.js 16 and Tailwind CSS v4, deployed on Vercel. Posts are written in Markdown and rendered at build time. Quite simple, fast and maintainable.

A Promise to Myself

I am hoping to get this blog up to speed as soon as possible, by adding posts for things like Open House and all of my other achievements that I haven't had time to reflect on.

Thanks for being here at the beginning.
